BMW has officially presented the stock sedan BMW 1-Series. This model was developed by the German company together with the Chinese car manufacturer Brilliance. The assembly of four-door saloon will be realized by China at the co-enterprise of BMW and Brilliance — BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd.
The sedan BMW 1-Series was developed especially for the Chinese market. The model was developed by the experts from the headquarters of BMW in Germany and the Chinese engineers. The road tests of the four-door saloon were realized in the different regions of China in different weather conditions and on any roads.
There are no technical details about the sedan 1-Series in BMW. The edition “Motor1” suggests that the model is built on the front-wheel-drive platform UKL that which forms the basis of the latest novelties from MINI and the compact vans BMW 2-Series Active Tourer and Gran Tourer.
